Fed. R. Civ. P. 25 applies in an adversary proceeding-but is subject to Rule 2012.

Rule 25 F.R.Civ.P. refers to Rule 4 F.R.Civ.P. Pursuant to Rule 7002 that reference is to Rule 4 as incorporated and modified by Rule 7004.

Committee Notes on Rules-2024 Amendment

The language of Rule 7025 has been amended as part of the general restyling of the Bankruptcy Rules to make them more easily understood and to make style and terminology consistent throughout the rules. These changes are intended to be stylistic only.
