Rule 9028. Judge's Disability

Fed. R. Civ. P. 63 applies in a bankruptcy case.

Notes of Advisory Committee on Rules-1987 Amendment

Rule 9028 has been changed to adopt the procedures contained in Rule 63 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure for substituting a judge in the event of disability.

Committee Notes on Rules-2024 Amendment

The language of Rule 9028 has been amended as part of the general restyling of the Bankruptcy Rules to make them more easily understood and to make style and terminology consistent throughout the rules. These changes are intended to be stylistic only.
